6 Aug 2016 ~ All Day
All courses will start promptly at 09.00 as we have to carry out both onshore theory and practical boat handling skills at sea. I anticipate that we will finish at approximately 17.00.
Some of the theory will be on the beach around the boats so ensure you have wet weather gear if there is a likelihood of rain. Also make sure you have adequate gear to go afloat, including a hat. Power boating is less strenuous than sailing you are also travelling faster and it is easy to get cold.
The course fees include the supply of appropriate books, if you already have a log book please bring it with you so it can be updated on successful completion of the course. Candidates for the Level 2 course will need to bring with them a passport-sized photograph.
All bookings will be on a first come, first served basis as places are limited. To secure your place, please complete the appropriate declaration form and return it to the Club as soon as possible. Payment to be made by cheque or by on-line payment as detailed on the declaration form. If paying a deposit, any balance monies to be received one week prior to commencement of the course.
We will ensure that teas and coffees will be available to you should you require them each day, these are not included in the course fee.
Please send the completed declaration form and deposit marked for the attention of:
